Budgeting

The City prepares an annual budget that is effective from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. The budgeting process takes place during the months of March - June. Public hearing about the budget must be held before adoption of the budget, which must be done by June 22nd of any given year. The budget can only be amended by resolution of the City Council.
